Light Beer Food Pairings and Recipes

I searched online for beer and salmon recipes and found quite a few. One that sounded good was from the Food Network courtesy of Sandra Lee. It has few ingredients, cooks in less than 10 minutes and has an easy clean up. It also allows you to select your favorite beer.
We found that...

While flipping through the indexes of the cookbooks on our shelf to find dishes cooked with beer—we only scored one that sounded tasty (and is low-carb). Beer-Braised Beef with Onions from one of our all-time favorite chefs, Pierre Franey. Franey wrote a popular column for the NY Times called The 60 Minute Gourmet and also did a series for PBS.
Our favorite Pierre Franey cookbook that we’ve used for years is called Cuisine Rapide (published in 1989). This book seems to be out of print; a...
We attended the final event on November 16th and what an event it was! 15 top chefs from the San Diego area worked with local breweries to create beer and food pairings for this event. All of the food was scrumptious and enhanced the flavor profile of each paired-beer. There were a couple of standouts though.
Our overall favorite was a Molasses Braised Short Rib...
